Project Life | Week 7

Hello you guys! It's week 7 up on the blog already! Time flies.
So this week, we bought a new rug and chair and the Mister had a bachelor party of our brother in law (to be..) The pages do not coordinate at all, but I had to add all the photos. So they look great apart from each other, but next to each other looks not so great.

I decided to only add the pictures of the right hand side where your don't really see the faces of all the others, because I don't want to put pictures up of others when I don't know if they mind. And I don't know all of them, so I don't post them. So just 2 pictures on that spread, sorry!

I also added a Design E page protector to document the last day with our beautiful dog. It is actually the dog of my parents, but I was always the one who loved him most. They took him to a dog shelter, and even though I love him to bits, I live in a tiny apartment so I couldn't take him. Hence, the last day of Bruno (how creative were we when picking a name!)

I used:
- Midnight Edition Core kit
- Laura Rahel Designs (the hello life one!)
- The Gold Foil kit of Heidi Swapp
- The chalkboard mini kit

Enjoy!

Lots of love,

Weaving

I might have a problem..

I just learned about weaving through Instagram and Pinterest and it is just amazing! Look what I just found on Google. (So they are not my pictures.. Just some awesome pieces I found on Google using 'Weaving hanging')

Isn't this gorgeous? I am afraid I need to try and make one of these myself, simply because I can't afford to buy one. Have you seen the prices of these in Easy shops? Seriously expensive! But I don't think it should be too hard to make one yourself, so I guess I have to try. After I finished my thesis that is.. *sigh..*

Just a few more pictures to show you how gorgeous it is!

Oh look at those details! I really love this! I can't wait to finish my thesis and make one!

Lots of love,

Mini album gorgeousness

With great pride I present to you my mini album!
Doesn't that sound awesome?! Well, it is exactly how I feel! I am seriously in love with my mini album and I had so much fun putting this together! It's so easy to use coordinating colors when you can decide on what to do!

I decided to do a mini album, but never did. This past week I had a one week break and I knew I had to do something fun in between my thesis writing. So I obviously chose to do a mini album. It's theme is Australia/my dream. It basically covers the beginning of my dream to go to Australia till us actually going there. I am sure we will go back, so it means it will be thicker in time!

Enough said, Enjoy my first mini!

ps. I love to know what you think about it! So feel free to comment here or on Instagram!

Project Life | Week 6

Hello again!

So here's my spread for the 6th week! Time flies you guys! I can't believe we are halfway through February already!

Anyways, the spread. I don't like how the photos do not work together at all, but I wanted to document all of the moments anyway. I just really feel like I need to capture our lives at this stage of time and I want to include everything. So even when the picture of a colorful bible does not cohere with the other (prettier) pictures of the spread, that's ok. (Yes Steph, it really is!)

For this spread I decided to use red as a 'theme color', I decided to go for red because of the pictures in the Sushi restaurant. They have lots of red in it, so I had no choice basically.
I used:
- The midnight edition (again.. I just love that kit!)
- The road trip theme cards (for the red ones)
- A blanc card with a red heart attached to it

I also turned around two of my photos because they are too personal.

Well, enjoy my spread!

ps. I am currently working on a mini album, which is turning out to be really awesome! So be sure to check back here later this week to see the 'result'.

Lots of love,

X
