Crochet Projects

One of my favorite things to do is crochet. Especially in front of the TV with a big cup of coffee. It's so nice to just sit down next to my husband and crochet. Watching a movie together while I work on a blanket with pretty colors!

I like to work on BIG projects. And I mean, big! I never do little toys, cushions or small things. I always make blankets. I just love blankets!

Some of the projects I made/make:

- A gorgeous granny stripe blanket with the 'help' of Lucy from Attic24 (Check out her site, she is awesome!). I used the same colors and the pattern of her website. (photo 1)

- A shawl. This truly turned out to be an enormous amount of work, but it is just gorgeous! I actually made 2, because my mother-in-law wanted one for herself as well.

- A baby blanket. I made a plain colored baby blanket for my little niece (photo 2) and one for our little boy.

- A grey blanket. I am still working on this blanket, but the idea is to create squares of 25x25cm and attach them together to create one big wonderful blanket. I saw something similar on Pinterest (who doesn't love Pinterest?) which was knitted but I decided to crochet and just started.

- A ripple stitch baby blanket for myself. I just had so much yarn leftover from the granny stripe blanket, but not enough to create a new big blanket. So I decided to go for a baby blanket. I am not really sure if I'll use it for our little boy, because his room is grey with wood, but I'm making it anyway;)

- A stripe blanket. I am working on a blanket for the bed in green/brown/beige. I love the colors because it reminds me of cactuses and I just love those.

-A black blanket. I am using the 'Lossen en vasten CAL' as the pattern. I decided to make it plain black, because when we move to our new house we want to get a grey couch and I think a black blanket would look nice with it.

As you can see I am currently working on 3 big blankets and one small blanket.
I will occasionally post a blog about one of my projects. Feel free to ask me anything about Crochet or patterns!

Lots of love,

x
